Funding will extend and upgrade the woodland’s grass path network, replacing it with more durable gravel paths to provide year-round accessibility and reduce maintenance demands on volunteers.
“We're seeking support to extend the path network across Cove Community Woodland. Improved site access has already boosted visitor numbers and enabled new community features including a wetland, play park and petanque courts. This next phase will develop our grass path network using gravel to support year-round accessibility for all, including wheelchair users and families, while easing the burden on our volunteer team. This funding will help us create a more inclusive, sustainable space for nature and community to thrive.”
