Funding will provide the essential tools and equipment needed to launch the newly formed Men’s Shed, helping the group begin regular activities while they work toward securing a permanent premises.
“Torry Men’s Shed is a welcoming place for Torry men to find community where they can connect, talk, and support each other. A place to feel valued and known by name. A place of camaraderie and fun. A place to learn new skills such as woodworking, repairing, gardening or crafting - great for learning or passing on skills. Older members can share their experience, preserving traditional skills and knowledge to benefit Torry by repairing, restoring and creating items or taking part in local community events.”
